Are you getting ready for a brainstorming session or an important meeting and feel you need a real pick me up for your brain?
Well grab a cup of coffee approximately a half an hour before. A new study from the University of Bristol in England shows that getting 250 milligrams of caffeine, the amount in two cups of coffee, can boost your performance while working with a partner under stressful circumstances.
Caffeine is known to cause some tense feelings but in women that’s a good thing because their response is to collaborate to find a solution, says Lindsay St.Claire, Ph.D.
Curiously, the coffee hurt men’s team player ability so give them a sip of decaf instead.
