Did you know that the average hand can have 150 species of bacteria on it? We all know that some bacteria are good for our body and they are present, but some are making you sick.
The Center for Hygiene and Health in Home and Community conducted a study on the bacteria found in homes. Here are some hiding places for those that may be affecting your health.
These spots may not be cleaned as regularly as they should:
Pet feeding areas or dishes, microwave touch pads, spices and condiment containers, kitchen faucets and handles to the oven, refrigerator and drawers, kitchen dish rags and sponges, tubs and showers, remotes to electronics and television sets, computers and keyboards, telephones, light switches and door knobs, baby changing areas that includes the wipe container and diaper packages.
These are all areas that have a high concentration of bacteria and are forgotten in our routine cleaning but can eliminate the cause of many illnesses in your home.
