What do you know about Ovarian Cancer? We all know about getting our yearly mammograms for breast cancer. We also are aware of the Pap smear for cervical cancer. But do you know that Ovarian Cancer kills almost 15,000 women per year. The National Cancer Institute reported that even when combining the blood test for detecting the protein CA-125 with a transvaginal ultrasound, it still failed to detect early stages of the disease and led to unnecessary surgeries. But you can do something about it. You can know the possible signs: indigestion, bloating and persistent gas not relieved by medications, changes in your bowels, and an unusual feeling of fullness in the pelvic area, or feeling full quickly when you eat.
