In a recent article by BodyEcology.com they reference how not only babies can benefit from daily naps but adults can too.
As adults we are recommended to get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep per night but how many of us actually are. In a 2007 study at the University of Athens Medical School in Greece it was found that naps reduce the risk of death from heart disease.*
Napping can also increase your brain health. We are on the go from morning until night and our brain needs a break to recharge its energy. So be creative and make a plan to meditate or nap on a regular basis if not daily for optimum good health and wellness.
