Breaking a sweat can have two benefits for those that suffer from IBS:
It can release stress, which is a prime trigger of gastrointestinal problems
It can better your brain’s ability to “talk” to your gut, which improves digestion.
But the biggest reason to get moving, say the study authors, is that IBS symptoms gradually worsen for people who do not work out.
